At MediCurious, we take your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We do not sell your personal data.
MediCurious is a privacy-first, Google-independent website. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Search Console tracking, or any other third-party behavioral tracking scripts. When you visit our site, your data stays between your browser and the hosting server. Standard technical logs (like IP addresses and browser types) may be recorded by the hosting provider for security purposes but are not used for tracking or advertising.
Currently, MediCurious does not require you to create an account or log in to access our core educational content (Body Explorer, Timeline, Versus, Compare). If we launch features like a Newsletter or a Contact Form in the future, we will collect the email address or name you explicitly provide.
Interactive features like the "Versus Game" and trivia scores use your browser's LocalStorage to save your progress locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers and remains solely on your machine.
We use the minimal information we collect for the following purposes:
MediCurious does not use tracking cookies. We aim to be a privacy-first educational tool. Because we are a completely ad-free platform and independent of the Google ecosystem, we do not use third-party cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking.
Our website contains links to other sites, notably our sister sites within the Pedia Network (PediaTime and PediaDevices) which may be hosted on platforms like Blogger. Once you click a link to another site, you are no longer governed by the MediCurious Privacy Policy.
We strongly advise you to read the Privacy Policy of any alternate site you visit, as we have no control over their tracking scripts or cookie policies.
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We recommend using secure browsers and networks.
MediCurious is educational content designed to be safe for all ages. However, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data (such as via a future contact form), please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a child without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
